Course information

The Diploma in Business (Level 5) is a nationally registered qualification, which has been approved by the NZ Qualifications Authority. It is a full time 38 week course, completed over 2 semesters of 19 weeks each. Student work is assessed by means of tests, research assignments and team based project work. Much student work involves applying course concepts in actual business case-studies.

 

Aim of the course

To prepare students to undertake planning, finance, sales and marketing and enterprise development in the establishment, operation and development of a small business enterprise.


Entry Requirements

  • IELTS 5.0 - 5.5 or equivalent
  • Competent to pass year 13 foundation course; or
  • Students can satisfy the Principal/Director of Studies that they are proficient in English language.
