English for Academic Purposes (EAP1 and EAP 2)

 

Course Information

The EAP 1 course is 14 weeks long and is designed for students with an English language entry level equivalent to IELTS 4.5. You will graduate from this course with an English language ability equivalent to IELTS 5.0. You do not need to sit IELTS or any other English language test before you start studying this course. When you arrive at the school You will be tested on your English language ability and be placed in the correct course level. Students with a high level of English may be able to move to EAP 2 after just 7 weeks.

 

Entry Requirements

 Open entry for EAP 1, EAP 2 requires completion of EAP 1.

 

Leads to

Certificate in University Foundation Studies.

   Academic Writing
   Academic Speaking
   Academic Listening
   Plus grammar and vocabulary studies
